Sorry if this seems a stupid post. Just got a white dials kit. got all of the platic dash needed off behind the wheel. unscrewed the two screws holding the dash clocks... when it came to taking the clocks out, seems theyre attched at the speedo cable (suprise, suprise). was just wondering if anyone's fitted em and got tips for getting that bit of slack to disconnect the cable at the back of the clocks. If i loosen the speedo cable at the transmission, will that give me enough give, to get them out far enough to disconnect. (sorry for the long boring post).

There should be enough room to get your hand down the back of the clocks and push the clip.
Back looks like this:
You need to press on the large square bit on the clip which surrounds the cable.

there is a small metal clip at bottom of where the speedo cable goes in you have to pull that towards you. then push the speedo cable away from you using your other fingers on ya hand
then should just pull out
if that makes sense?
