Take it you mean the rocker covers?? They were just buffed down and polished mate... was done by the boy before me.. Ave used silvo on them and there a bit shinier again..
Still gna clean engine up a bit more but it'll do for now..

Later 106 gti's have the EGR valve infront of the head, it's what sits on the infamous 2 prongs.
that engine neither has EGR valve or prongage - though it's just a myth about the difference in power shown by that.
if you looked at the pics steve it's a T reg - 1999. Prong / EGR etc is 2000 +.
Also as far as I'm aware none had the cat on the downpipe, why would they move the cat there?  and end up making the manifold more restrictive?

Make sure you replace the filter inside. they come with piddling tiny little pink filters that are tiny. Get the pugsport green one off of pug sport boutique - even people with ecosse one's replace them with the green inside, far better gains.

Agreed!!!!! Rocker covers aint hard to get like that and they seem to be staying pretty shiny even tho there not laquered or that
