on my old computer there was a folder called msn chat logs which had all the conversations id had on msn in txt files i think. Cant remember where the folder was I cant seem to find the folder on my new pc?

You need to be saving them, in the options somewhere.
Usually c:\Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\My Recieved Files\Log or something

Tools > Options > Messages.
Under Message History click on Automatically keep a history of my conversations.
