I knwo you all tell me to see the car and answer for myself, and I AM going to see a 1.4 twinport this weekend.

Just out of interest, how does it sound, does it sound powerful, or like a normal 1.4. My mate said it sounds like a washing machine..

Have you ever heard a Ferrari roar past you at 150 MPH, well think of that noise then think of the opposite of that noise. Thats what it will sound like

At the risk of sounding repetative, go the the bleeding Vauxhall dealership. You can look at the pedals, hear the engine, sit in the seats, drive the car, hear the radio, beep the horn, smell the spare wheel and then maybe you will buy one and stop asking these pointless questions.

its all very well going to the dealership but i've been trying to find one near me with a 1.8 and its like a needle in a factory full of things that look like needle but are not quite as fast

Yep. I have also heard the twinports arent as fast as the models before they put twinport in. i.e 03 reg.. Anyone confirm?

Twinport engine are more powerful, so they ARE quicker than the older models.

The 1.4 twinport has 98bhp iirc
