I'm selling some 5'' components on ebay and somebody has asked me a question:

"Are these 5 rather than 5.25? I am using some 5.25 adaptor rings in the front of my doors. Would these speakers be compatible?"

The diameter of the speaker is exactly 5'' (130mm) but if you include the fixing bracket they are 5.35''??

Anyone?

last time i checked 5.25" was qtr of an inch longer than 5"

chances are they probably wont fit, would be asy to make an adapter out of MDF to make them fit though

Bram - did you measure them as 5" or was it printed on the back? what is the make/model number?
