when i recently fitted new clocks in my corsa the speedo cable was a nightmare

In the end i tied a piece of wire (cable tie would be better) around it really tight, lined the speedo cable up with the back of the clocks, took my hand out (ouch) and pulled on the cable as hard as possible til it clicked, then just either cut the end off or shove it behind the clocks and fasten them in - Worked a treat for me

i got the nack of doin the speedo cables now, u just need balls to keep ur fingers in there for as long as possible.

the item i have trouble with is the centre console, getting the hazard light switch and wire to unattach.

i reallly like the flocked dash, but would look daft in my corsa s it isnt exactyl racing pedigree, but if ido a LET car for sunny days i will get one for sure

it really is easy ot change the dash. there isnt many wires at all to connect up and aslong as you have a small flat blade screw driver handy, any plug will come apart from the switch. centre consoles are easy to change when uve got the hang of it.

theres 2bolts each side of the dash, 3under the scuttle panel and 2screws holding the fuse box in. this is the 2nd dash swap ive done (put a gsi dash in me nova and now the flocked into the corsa)
