I dont think there is a best, alot of people slate Toyo Proxes but then theres people who love em. Personally i like them. Same with Michelin Pilots, i heard brilliant things about them, i got some fitted and i dont really rate them. I'm get Goodyear F1's next, not heard much bad about them.

i liked the conti as they lasted quite a long time and grip wernt too bad in both wet and dry
but the toyo grip in the dry was compared to the contis's wet was about the same, my only problem is the toyos lasted like 3k or something stupid
looking at either egal f1's or toyos again next, sick of the shite kuhmo's i have at the mo

Avon ZV3 .. very good tyres .. done over 3k and they're still almost new. I do some wheelspin sometimes, no burnouts though as I can't afford to waste it. I recommend them especially if you want some rim protection.

Tried avon zv1s and didnt like them. zv3s seemed ok but hard. yet to try eagles. I shunned proxes due to pooerer wet grip than uniroya rainsports which is what im running just now. these are mega grippy, but also crazy soft. ive done about 4 and Im ready to swap sides, another 4 and into the bin.

Rolling on Yoki Parada's at the mo, Quality tyres, my 205/40/16's are about 25mm wider than my old (but new) 195/45/16 A539's. V-good tyre but can't deside if the A539's gripped better! Check out one of the picks in my garage to see size difference!

Uni Royals! Ace tyre, forgot about them, possibly a little soft on the side walls though.
You can't really go wrong with anything mentioned can you! Lets face it the pro's get it wrong in F1 all the time!

i have Pirelli P-zero neros at the moment, quite like them tho the treadwear is shocking also there quite wide for a 195, not sure if thats a good thing or not, but they are a million times better than the A539s i had previously.

uniroyals dont last 10 minutes but i havnt had anthing that grips so well in the wet. i have toyos atm and they are also good but not as good as the uniroyal rainsports
edit. uniroyals looked so much wider than the toyos
