a compaq presario v5000 with a 1.7ghz Pentim centrino M processor, 1mb cache, 60gig HD, 1024 RAM, Wifi enabled, dvd re-writer, card reader, 15.5 inch HD widesdreen, wifi broadband transmitter.

how much would you expect to pay new?

no its not.

forgot to mention, it also comes with a high speed compaq broadband router, wireless printer router and a top spec kevlar carry case

the laptop was £699 on its own, then they wanted £59 for the router and £60 for the bag. so a total of £818.

haggled the salesman down on price to do the lot for £775 and he went to see if he had any in stock, came back went to the till and I managed to get the lot for £575

think he made a mistake? even when looking on the net for prices for this laptop the cheapest it came out at was £629 without the case and router.
