sure they were et38 (or slightly less) dropped by 40mm

what is te et?? on wheels is it the offset?? what difference does it make?? is it how far out the wheels stick out

my mates lowered his 140mm wiht et49 no rubbage

ET is where the outter rim sits in comparison to the hub where the hub connects to the wheel. et 49 means the outter rim will stick out further than that of say et35.

mine on the polo are et29 front and 35 rear as the rear aches stick out further.

The outer rim will be in more on 49 offset, 35 will stick out more.

The lower the offset the more the wheel will stick out as joe6886 said 49 will be in more and 38 will stick out more.
