just got my car mount back off the Chan and gave it a quick go at my house as I've only used it once before. taken with 10-22 @ 10mm. only took the two as I had to run to B&Q and get a lamp

I was hardly going at any speed - its attached via 2 suckers so quite tightly ont he car

yes clicked timer then ran back into car counted till 8 then drove slowly

No shit sherlock - thats like saying someone wouldn't be nervous of abseiling down a big building just coz they've got ropes and a belay.
Ross - can you get a long remote release cable for the camera or doesnt it support that? I know a lot of digital cameras don't.
