I have a 1.4 16v sport and am willing to spend money on tuning the engine. Obviously it'll be in stages cuz its expensive and i dont have the money just sitting about but if i was to put new cams, dbilas inlet, ss exhaust, pipercross induction kit, chip, remapped ecu what would i end up gettin out of the engine?
Also what other things could i do and whats the max a sport will get BHP wise? would throttle bodies fit and what are the thoughts of putting a Turbo on a 1.4 16v sport?
Cheers Guys

the cost of doing the dbilas, cams, remap etc will be as much as throttle bodies would cost. and you wont get the same gains.
you can get throttle bodies for £1600 as a full kit and you should see around 120 bhp on an otherwise standard engine. I know someone with an x14xe in a nova that produces around 170 bhp on tb's.

what TB kit would be best for x14xe?
Any reason for no turbo or is it not possible?
