the box does not have to be as big, becuase you dont have to take displacement into account.

if you do a search on google "how to make a subwoofer box" (or something similar)
things like "sub box software" will come up
basically you can type in the sub that you have and the frequency of sound you wish to make and it will calculate the size of the box that you should have in order to get the best sound from your sub.

can anyone work a box size for a jl audio 18"w3 box but want the sub inverted?
