Right, I'm looking to buy a new camera in the next month or two and i need advice. I've read through a load of posts on here about people wanting new cameras and I've read through vib's summary of features etc but i still am not sure exactly what I'm looking for.
Firstly, I'm looking to spend around 200, maybe up to 250 for something special. Essentially I want a camera with enough features to keep me interested, to let me to learn a thing or two, but also be fairly simple to use. I'm not looking for anything bulky though because I'm not interested enough to carry something huge around, so pocket sized is pretty important.
Based on previous reccomendations i thought this looked pretty good: http://www.dpreview.com/news/0508/05083107pentax_optiowpi.asp
Its not particularly expensive anymore but I dunno if this signifies that its crap or what? Anyway, any assitance would be much appreciated.

£176 inc delivery from pixmania.
I'm now edging towards the cannon but it looks like a really awkward shape and size for carrying around in my pocket. Hmmm

i have the canon a620 mate, tis a great camera very easy to use LOADS of features etc. have no regrets about it its a bit bulky but not too bad, i dont find it a pain to carry around.
