I have a 99 1.4 sport and the air con doesnt seem to be working, It was recharged when i braught the car and i tested it to see if it worked and noticed it made a noice and change engine revs so figured it worked. I tried it today and it isnt making a noise atall and doesnt seem to be working. Could anyone help me with this problem. Cheers

sounds like the compressor isnt cutting in, check fuses 1st check they ok, is the light coming on wen you pull the knob out to turn air con on, if still no good id take it to where the air con was gassed and let them have a look

Cheers, Yer ive checked the fuses, light comes on when i pull out knob but no sign of air con working. Its as if theres a leek because it was fine after beeing re-charged but now doesnt work again. Is there such thing as a leek?

Get them to gas it and put a dye penetrant in it, if there's a leak it will show up.

On the topic on air con my corsa is also 1.4 99 T reg. The air con works OK without n e problems just the air con light doesnt seem 2 work on dashboard when the temp knob is pulled out. The bulbs OK I know cuz when I start up car and put ignition into 3 2 start engine it flashes very briefly. So I know the bulb isnt faulty. Does n e 1 know wots happening. Nothing urgent though cuz air con has no probs
