Got a problem with my car, please read this!!
Right, I was driving along a road to my house about a week ago, looked out back window, and smoke was coming out of back of car!! I got home checked under bonnet and water was empty!! I filled the water up, but it was just gushing out of botttom!!
Anyway, RAC came round, told me that I had a 3 inch slit in the bypass hose!!
Took it to local garage to get fixed!! (Cost £80!!!!!!!)
Wile i was driving home, engine management light came on, and i noticed speedo wasnt working!! Then i came to a junction, all lights came on (like when you stall) car juddered then carried on!! I rang the garage and they told me to come back!! They looked under bonnet, and noticed a vacuum hose was lose!! They put it in and said that should stop the lights and juddering problem and it was probably soemthing to do with intermittance????? Then jacked up car and told me speedo cable was snapped (they probably did this, as it was fine when i took it to them!!
This was on wednesday, since then, the EM light has come on every now and again, and the same juddering and lights come on!?
Went to manchester today (from burnley)!! Approached first motorway junction, slowed down as i approached roundabout and engine cut out as if it had stalled!! so i turned ignition off, then back on and it was fine!! It continued to do this at every junction or roundabout!! EM light was also on more-a-less all the way back!!!???
Any ideas what this is, and you think the garge has done it, or fitted the hose wrong, as the car was fine before i took it to the garage and in the 3 months ive had the car, not once have i seen the EM light come on!!
PLEASE HELP?????????

go to nearest vauxhall get car diagnosed properly any charges you have to pay get receipt then go back to original garage an say look you made my car worse i want you to pay these costs
take em to a small claims court jus need to prove they fecked it in the first place

how much is diagnostics at vauxhall!!
not think its worth doing at a normal garage!?

my mate thinks it might be something to do with the crank shaft sensor??

is the cable still snapped? if so, thats your problem. no vehicle speed signal to the ecu to control the icv opening and closing.

yes the cable is still snapped mate!! so you think as soon as the speedo cable is replaced, it will be fine!!??

crank shaft sensor... common fault, i had this happen to me once it conked out and it started again i had to rag it then roll for as long as i could when it conked out as i was ages away from home. had to do this about 15 times lol
