I've done a few searches and found a few of you have owned them - looking at buying one, insurance quotes i've had aren't too bad but i'm worried about running costs
How bad are they to keep?
Any advice recommended - i've looked at a couple of Supra sites but i thought i'd ask on here for the peeps with 1st hand experience too.

Sorry - looking at a 93/94 plate - not sure what mark they are (think iv). Also looking at the Turbo's & Twin Turbos

Like i said, i'm just trying to gather as much info as i can at the minute - i know they're gonna cost quite a bit - but need to know if i'm gonna be looking at silly money

Speak to Kindness............all I know is there expensive to fix but once there fixed & pulling near 500bhp jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesus they good fun

its common to get imports converted to single turbo, pull more power that way.

Silly money with regards to what???
It will drink fuel like a tramp on the cider & if it brakes you could be about £4-6k to fix it!!

was looking into getting one couple years back and found loads of info on there. think if you register you get ten free posts so might be worth registering and getting as many questions in on one post as possible
when i was looking the crowd on there were really helpful and friendly, not sure if its changed since i was looking

Mk3 are a lot cheaper but most are rotting away
Lots of part from America and with the rate of exchange fairly cheap
Like most thing not to expensive if you can DIY

depends what your after....
a UK spec is a lot cheaper to insure over an Import.
The import has samller brakes, turbo's, injectors etc.... but is lighter and the smaller lighter ceramic turbo's spool quicker.... and in my opinion is quicker than a UK spec 
DO NOT DISREGARD an AUTO!!!! Drive one... they are awesome, and quicker than manual cars. VERY GOOD!
a std j-spec TT can handle about 400bhp before getting to real issues...
Std mapping/injectors and pump can run 17-18psi... although i'd reccomend at least upgading the pump and reg to be safe.
dont get an NA...

There mentak cars and i agree with Ak auto versions are bloody fast especially on kick down overdrive
But be careful, a mate of mine went from an integra to a supra TT and wrote it off by overtaking a car with a little too much right pedal and flipped it.
There fast cars but make sure your upto the job to handle one

£££££££££££££££££££££££££ is all ican say, i have had 2 celica gt4s, both been very reliable, but cost a fortune to run petrol and toyota parts prices, and the supra is bigger and more juicy!!
great cars if you can afford them...

6 cylinders with 2 turbos.....
Get used to single digit or low double digit MPG

they arent that bad on petrol to be honest....
300miles to a full tank (50litres maybe  )
I found it better on petrol than my old skyline.... even when the supra was running 23psi etc.
Very very smooth and refined cars in standard form.

hmmm well i started drivin my Supra TT "auto" this week, so far its okish on petrol "tho iv been sittin in traffic more less 60 miles worth" only driven about 90 miles in it so far.
