My GSI's bumper has had the little triangle that holds the bumper to the wing via the arch plastic broken off. Is it possible to have it plastic welded back on or are there any other ways of repairing it?

I bought one with this problem.
My mate fixed it for me:
Took the splitter off and cut a bit of plastic off the underneath of the bumper thats covered when the splitter is back on. Cut it to shape, screwed it through the bumper in correct position. Then plastic welded it on. Skimmed over screw holes and plastic weld and chopped off screw threads on other side of bumper. Solid as a rock and hasn't cracked and been like that for a good 6 months now

if you have a spare bumper lying about you could always chop a bit off that instead of the GSi bumper

Bumper is off, got the little triangle so am off to the bodyshop with it tomorrow to leave it with them. Hopefully i will have it back by mid week sorted and re painted.
