ive got a 1.2 8v and im bored of it being shoot slow.

there is nothing wrong with my car, is it worth selling it to get a 1.4sri? are they much quicker?

i cannot afford insurance on a 1.6 i dont hink. im 18 with 1 years no claims

im 19 next month wiht a years no claims, cud i get insured on a standard 1.6 for £1500 or less?

Depends if you can move the 1200 on and if you can find a nice SRi at the right price.

They're group 6 so not much more. 1600 at group 11 gets a bit silly.

Get some quotes and see the difference is between all three.

i have found a quote on the 1.4sri for less than a hundred quid more than im paying now

There is a lot of difference between the 1.2 8v and the 1.4 16valve matey !

Running costs are hardly any different if driven sensibly, I really duno why Vauxhall made the 1.2 8 valve

£1,701.66 fully comp on a 1.6 16v sport for me as soon as im 19, is that any good?

For some reason a GSi to me is cheaper on insurance than a 1.6 Sport?

ive just gone 20, paying 600 on an sri, thats with no no claims as its a second policy. surely cant be more than 1k?

lol sadly it is, it was 1250 for my 1.2 in my first year, just been quoted £1,267.06 TPFT on a 1.6 16v sport. im tempted...

my 1.8 C has 125bhp and is insurance group 9
