Hello everyone,

I'm getting an 05 plate Corsa 1.4 Twinport SRi at the end of the week so I thought I should register.

I'll miss my first car's performance though I think

I got a Pug 306 1.9 DTurbo, is the corsa much slower?

Cheers

Whether the corsa is a lot slower or not it'll feel much slower.
You won't get lumps of torque or feel the turbo spooling up for a surge.

This is my old baby

Its a little quicker than standard as the turbo fuelling had been turned up and also open cone filter, dump valve etc.

I'll post pics of the SRi on friday when I pick her up

Well the corsa is Metallic Black and it looks mint.
I chose the SRi over an 06 plate SXi+ because next to each other the SRi looks so much better.
Trouble is the week is going so slowly lol

Yeah they are a great car for a first car. There wasnt anything at college that could touch it for performance with the same economy. I would at an estimate place mine at 0-60 in around 9-10 secs with the stage one tuning.

I suppose I will miss the attention my pug attracts really more than anything.
