i dont think my air con is workin properly. when u pull out the a/c button it lights up like its suppost to but the air doesnt get any colder. i had it on for over an hour yesterday and the air outside was colder wen i wound down my windows! anyone else had this problem??

sounds like it needs a re gas mate to get it to work properly again

diy for £15, garage will be about £40.
garage will do it properly tho and bleed the system properly and gas to the correct pressure

Maybe get a dye penetrant put in too, just incase theres a leak.

i would take it to a garage mate be alot easier for you
there is a low and and a high side and you have to empty it on 1 side and fill it on the other but i can not remember which 1 cause our machine used to do it all for us lol

I wouldn't mind trying out myself though. If its not 2 difficult I do it m8, cuz dont fancy paying out £40 out 2 a mechanic if its not a hard job 2 do. The reason I need 2 do it is because I bleed the flippin air con system outa gas when I had an airlock in my cooling system and obviously bled the wrong valves thinking I was bleeding the cooling system!!! so wouldnt mind knowing how 2 refill the air con ystem. THANX!!

By the tme you have buggered around with refridgerant you might as well get it sorted properly.
