keeps having spasms and the keyboard and mouse go weird. the mouse acts as if you are doulble clicking stuff when you are not. and the keyboard goes weird so you end up typing like this

as it seems to be pressing return all the time.
Only really seems to happen whilst online but also occurs in word after i have been online. it can be solved by signing out of the internet and going back in.
Is this some kind or virus?
Any help much appreiciated 
BTW im with BT yahoo broadband if that helps

try a different keyboard. sounds a bit dodgy to me.

Swap the hardware see if that cures it, if it doesn't its software.

For the mouse single clicking things try
Open My Computer or similar folder > Tools>Folder Options
Theres an option at the bottom to 'single click to open'
If that's got the bullet point in then move it to 'double click' and should sort that.
