thnx but actually doing some DIY wheel refurb...
can't pay £50 per wheel to get refurb for a set of wheels I bought for £60
any other ideas?

i think sand blasted or glass beaded is the only option
im doing mine tomorrow in work for free

Would nitromoorse (sp) paint stripper work? I used it on a mates bike fairing but dont know about alloy wheels

nitromors does work but it's a messy job and takes ages to clean off all the bits.

Nitromors or sand blast them. Sand blasting can be sone pretty cheap if you talk to the right people....
