Trying to get the blood thing out

Undone 4 screws near the pollen filter already, where in the car is it attacthed?

Want it out ASAP!

ah do you mean the foam under carpet soudn deadning or the tar matting

if its the matting thatsactully stuck to there car the 2 ways ive heard of

i used a hot air gun and a wallpaper scraper, grey stuff is mega easy to come out, black stuff isnt

or grigglet soaked it all in white spirt and left it for a day iirc

The foam stuff is nearly all out, that got ripped up

The other stuff does seem to be a coont

When you said it will just rip up & thought you meant the heater jobby

I want to get the heater out first before I get rid of the sound deadening

I heated up the black tar stuff and kept scraping away with a spatular then got a paint brush and repeatidly brushed white spirit over the remaining shite and it all lifted off.

Just kicked the shit out of it, bits went everywhere & I enjoied it

But it still wont come out

Is it connescted to anything else in the car? from say the engine somewhere?

yes mattm theres two pipes that go to it, from the engine through the bulkhead, otherwise how do you think it gets hot

There is a bolt in between these pipes too Was a right fucker to get off

Out now though

Im doing it to a super dooper top secret car that I don't even know about

sound deadenin is an arse to remove. best way i found is sharp thin paint scrapper and a hot air gun, and then using tar and glue remover to remove the remains, look in my garage for pics
