The maths isnt challenging
Yes I know that, explain how it knows you have travelled 1/4 mile.

right, so it knows you were standing still?
So then it measures the accelertion (via the inertia of something inside it) at say every hundredth of a second?
So it has the average acceleration, and the time?
Since acceleration is the derivative of velocity, and velocity is the derivative of displacement (or distance) and unless your a numpty you have travelled in a straight line, it has your distance.

i got a pb too.
14.586 @ 93.54 sorry Lee
suppose i was cheating with slicks though.
others were a 14.6 flat and a 14.621
set up for a second set of three runs but the starters noticed i had a small water leak when i was lined up for the first, so i couldn't run.

haha, what everyday isn't enough for you!
i was going to clean it but was on holiday on friday and sat, then got back sat at 3pm, went to work to map it, finished mapping it and playing with it at 10pm after doing a fuel pump and stuff...
then sunday morning i had a major fuel leak just before my trip to the jet wash, by then id given up all hope!

I have only run up the 1/4 three times in my old Astra GTE 16v
15.4 @ 90mph
15.3 @ 91mph
15.2 @ 91mph
every time my 60ft was shocking... like 2.4 secs or something...
With more grip (and a 2.0 60ft time) that car would of run a 14.9!
