JBL tend to be a good comprimise between performence and value for money - I'd go with one of them

Richie has a Vibe FLI in the boot of his astra and it sounds really nice, thats run off his clarion touch screen headunit
You could get away without an amp if your headunit has a half decent one built into it

Amp: JBL 75.2, will do 300wrms @ 4ohms
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=4139
Sub: Arc Audio KAR 10, Only rated at 200wrms but Arc stuff likes headroom. Well made gear aswell.
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=4706
Leaves a bit over to make a box and some wiring, may need to spend £20 over.
Otherwise caraudiodirect have a JBL sub and Amp budle deal on for £139.99 which includes wiring.

Looks like a good do, although my first suggestion would be better quality, the jbl deal is excellent value for money.

ive got two of those sitting to go in the car soon, im running them 2000W RMS @ 1ohm with a pro plus nemesis amp
its a dual 4 ohm sub so you would need an amp thats 2 ohm stable and about 1000W RMS
