Whats the best to use for pulling the latch open on a focus door?

Or these...
Which one would be stronger to pull the latch for smoothed handles?

The top ones normally used on boots but i cant see why you cant use either one.

2nd one, the 1st ones are shit, mine broke fast so just replaced with the black one and its even a smoother action. i also found that the 2nd is easier to fit. seems more heavy duty and designed for that sort of job

The top is a door solinoid and pulls, the bottom one is a central locking motor and will not be strong enough for the door latch.
