when you buy a car outright.
with money you have saved up,

does it feel worth it? say you plump 5k of hard earned cash into somthing, is it worth it?

paul, i know ive had shitters.
the van was over 2k and that felt wiered cos that was my own money/
my first corsa was a bank loan and was 3k and i wasnt arsed about handing it over

my weekend car, whatever its gonna be, prob a mx5 will be about 5k just sinking 5-7 months money into 1 car seems wiered to me

maybee i need to get a better job?

i want a non turbo rwd sports car with comfy interior handle's ace and all toys aircon elec's etc

mx5 or audi coupe quattro fit the bill so far

I grudge handing over money for anything tbh!!

However at least a car is something you enjoy!! Wait till your a home owner & have Council tax, water rates, Gas/Elec, Insurance, tv license etc etc etc to pay out!!! Now that hurts!!

I paid £12250 cash for mine. It was really nice knowing I owed nothing on the car. If I can't afford it I don't buy it!

MX-5 is a brilliant drivers car.

not overkeen on mr2 there a bit unstable, unpredictable

although i have just seen a r reg impreza for 5k with 50k on the clock



we shall see when ive saved enuff eh?

ive saved up 10k of my own money for my next car for next month
dunno if i wanna hand it all over! as that could be a nice deposit on a house/flat
