when you buy a car outright.
with money you have saved up,
does it feel worth it? say you plump 5k of hard earned cash into somthing, is it worth it?

Depends what you buy, with the sort of shitters you buy I doubt it! Probably the opposite - full of feelings of regret

paul, i know ive had shitters.
the van was over 2k and that felt wiered cos that was my own money/
my first corsa was a bank loan and was 3k and i wasnt arsed about handing it over
my weekend car, whatever its gonna be, prob a mx5 will be about 5k just sinking 5-7 months money into 1 car seems wiered to me
maybee i need to get a better job?

I grudge handing over money for anything tbh!!
However at least a car is something you enjoy!! Wait till your a home owner & have Council tax, water rates, Gas/Elec, Insurance, tv license etc etc etc to pay out!!! Now that hurts!!

I paid £12250 cash for mine. It was really nice knowing I owed nothing on the car. If I can't afford it I don't buy it!
MX-5 is a brilliant drivers car.
