some times resetting the ecu resolves this but not in all cases.

its not, that makes it worse if anything

although drilling your airbox isn't going to do anything to your air flow meter

its when you change the air induction, it sends in more air than what the air flow meter is calulated to, something like that. so the engine gets confused with how much air is actually going in and causes the car to kangaroo
