I had a look at the sparkplugs (x16xe) and three of them were fine, but one of them was black and the white case looked abit burnt like it had overheated. What would be the cause of this?
thanks

nope nothing like that. Headgasket did come to mind at first. Its running about 91C on a hot day which i dont think is too bad. Could do with a coolant change though.

it really could have just been a faulty plug, although that is unlikely. could be running rich, dodgy injector, pinking, worn bores/rings...

maybe, I'd have to get a second opinion. Will see how the new plugs hold up first. Thanks for the help.

cant do that because i lost my phone yesterday. Nothing was melted. Everything was intact, its just the tip was black and the white casing closest to the tip was abit discoloured.

sounds like plug simply overheating. as you said, try a new plug, might just be a one off...
