I always remember when Paul Scholes was quite new to the Man Utd senior team, about a season or two after he made his debut they started calling him Shh-oles instead of Sc-oles. Sounded funny as anything.

I don't agree, his voice maybe annoying but his football knowledge is very accurate, I always notice the way he just ignores any silly comment the pro commentator comes out with.... Think it was Clive Tyldsley said in the Brazil/Croatia game " Brazil are starting to play purring smooth football " and Pleaty just said " Now let's see if Croatia's defence can keep up with the raised tempo"

He's actually a good manager, but good managers need good players who are capable of putting their ideas onto the pitch.
