Is Gary Neville really going to fully recover from a torn calf injury and potentially play in the last 8 ties? It seems quite a tall order to fullfill in my opinion. I do hope he does though, hes one of those players that you wouldn't think you would miss until you see a game without them, we're definatley lacking without him.

It's one of them injuries that feel ok until you run hard on it and then you get the truth in phyiscal form, he's on borrowed time but at the same time he can't rush it.

I don't think we'll see him for the rest of the World Cup.

both rio and nevilles scans were good, i think he will play again depending on how far we go in tournament. probably will miss sunday

Rio will be back i think sunday, Neville im not too sure... maybe save him for semi's get him fit if we get that far

I think they will keep him back for the next round, no point chancing him against technically inferior opposition IMO!
