im in the progress of saving up for a suspansion kit for my 1998 corsa sxi ....
ive got 15" R-lines alloys on at the moment and heres the spec

Tyre: Silverstone 195/50/15
PCD: 4x100/4x108
Offset: 38mm

how much can drop the car by without any rubbing and arch mods ...

40 mm tops, wheels are wrong offset & anymore will cause chaffage

will it be bad if i have it at 40mm then ... over bumps or with people in the back.....i odtn want it to rub on the arches.. its just the car sits a little too high at the front ...
