Hello everyone, need your advice on this problem...Recently i've noticed that there was a play/gap in my left rear wheel even with the car on the ground. It looked scary cause when i grab the spokes of the rear wheel in my hands any shake it around there was a huge gap/play.I didn't know what to think of it but it looked dangerous to drive like that so i told my father and he took the car early in the morning to a mechanic. It turen out to be the wheel bearings(at least i think you call them that, two parts,a bigger one and a samller one?)Anyway the mechanic relpaced the parts and now there's no play on the wheel but whenever a brake normaly/gently i feel a vibration on my foot from the brake pedal and on the steering wheel? Is this normal?Did the mechanic do something wrong?
Thanks.
Oh and sorry for being ingnorant about this things.

The rear wheel bearings are supposed to have a tiny bit of play in them anyway. They are called taper roller bearings they should be too tight.

The juddering/vibration is probably warped brake discs. Do you use your brakes quite heavily?

I have no idea what taper roller bearings are. But i know that there was a play in the rear left wheel, after the replacement there isn't.
And this happened yesterday, the day before the braking was just fine. This vibration happens only on normal/gentle braking, think it's fine on heavy braking.

They should be too tight?Or they shouldn't be too tight? In order to have a bit of play.

Well when I do them at work, we just nip them up and then back them off about quarter of a turn. The nut is held on by a split pin anyway.

Its a Corsa B I take it?

Corsa B X14xe.
And you're talking about that central nut wich is held by that split pin?
Maybe that's too tight?
I'm also woundering cause i wasn't there...maybe he forgot to put back the spigot ring on the inside of the wheel?Could that cause the juddering?

Rear bearing - tighten castle shaped nut so it just nips up tight by hand make sure the wheel drum spins freely and doesnt lock up
