Success IMO... get behind him, lets be honest, he hasn't got long to prove his worth anyways as he has been involved for so long!

First ever England manager appointment ive disagreed with.

Given he's been 'coaching' them for the past five years, what is he going to add?

Fcuk all if you ask me.

And if his tactics in the EUFA cup final were anything to go by, we're fcuked there too.

Nobody please tell me they are paying him £5m

as jules said he's been coaching them for 5 years, and he's contributed jack shit to the team. Even though martin o'neil's not an englishman I think they made a mistake in rejecting him

There was a lot of talking last week of the FA just wanting a 'Yes' man and that all of the other candidates what to full control and bring in their own coaching staff etc.. Apprently Mclaren was the only one who waived that right

The only people ive heard of lavishing praise on Mclaren are Middlesborough (no choice really) the FA (couldn't do otherwise) and Alex Ferguson.

Speaks volumes that

Middlesborough fans we're delighted to get rid of him. What does that say for the national team. I think they made a huge mistake in making him head coach. But only time will tell.
