a turbo....
in the end, you'll end up spending more on nos, than it would cost to do a turbo conversion, also witht he turbo, you'll have the power on tap, unlike nos, where it can run out,

regardless of how long it lasts to boosts power - also it is not a case of strapping a bottle of nos in the car and lets go
internals need to be modified etc
So interms of creating power than its a viable source such as exhaust gases for turbo's etc

His dad made him take it out?
I'm going to have NOS on the Nova, and I plan to have 2 bottles put on the rollcage either side

But all you're having it for is so you have another bit to wank on and use the cum as polish to make it shiney Make sure your dad doesn't see it too

Says he person who has read somones opinion and taken it as gospel. Though I would think a set of uprated rod bolts would be a good idea.

uprated is good with any engine mod however not essential
ive ran nos on standard gsi internals for nearly 3 years

Never said it was essential but most people add NOS onto tuned engines so its highly advisiable

every one to thier own but
no other mods are needed to run smaller amounts of n2o say upto 50bhp but clutches are an issue for much above that
BAD POINTS
some people think it is cheating
(its not its a performance mod)
you can get carried away with it and add too much too soon
lots of idiots fit it badly causing bad press
bottle runs out quick on large doses and can be a struggle to refill (but won`t run out when you need it just like petrol unless your a knob)
people tell you all about it who have never even used it
GOOD POINTS
smaller amounts can be very very cheap
(second hand upto 50bhp £200)
you can remove it and fit it again to any make petrol or diesel
50 bhp of n2o gives you better performance than 50 bhp of conventional tuning
you don`t have to use it all the time giving less wear on the engine
it gives you a big grin ( especially on large doses)
the kit itself lasts for ever ( our first kit lasted about 12 years only to be replaced with more modern gear)

how long would you say 50bhp jets would last with a single bottle? Not sure what size bottles they come in, so take a guess at an average sized bottle
