CHASSIS:
the later type forks that are adjustable for rebound/damping/preload that have been re-sprung and re-valved with better fork oil. the rear wheel has been converted from a standard 18" to 17" from a vfr 750. this gives you a wider rear and a better choice of tyres. the rear subframe is a new item made from aluminium making it shorter and lighter and accepts the honda rs250 gp bike seat unit. bendix pads all round with braided hoses for the brakes. and the fecker handles!! not like them crappy zxr400's and yam fzr400's!!
ENGINE:
the head has been gas flowed, the quietening cam gears have been removed to make it rev quicker, although it now sounds like its got a dry clutch! the charging system has been removed again to help it rev quicker but the battery needs re-charging after the end of a track day. the bike still starts on the button but i usually bump it. the clutch has stronger bolts and springs in as this is a known weak point on the nc's. the exhaust down pipes are standard, but i've been reliably informed that they are as good as so called performance ones. the throttle is quick action.
BODYWORK:
the fairings are from the nc35 and the seat unit off a '95 honda rs250. gives it a fresher look.
