anyone on here know how to do the special tricks that individual players can do?
I know how to do Ronaldinho's trick (Both Ronaldos can do it as well). Have heard that Christiano's trick where he cuts inside from the wing and flicks it between his legs can be done. Also some others are on there, just don't know how to do them.
Anyone?

apart from the fients and shimmies this is the only 'trick' as such I know.
PS2 - press the R2 button 3 times in quick succession with Ronaldinho, Christiano Ronaldo or Fat Ronaldo.
Xbox - Same but with black button.
360 - Same but with right bumper.

what is the 'skill' button on the PS2? It's just that 3 times.
Also, found out how to do the Recoba over the weekend.
Only players I know that do it so far are Recoba and Roberto Carlos.
Shooting from left to right, go to the top right corner of the opposition's penalty area and start to 'run' (using the run button) directly down using the D-Pad. When you are parallel with the penalty spot and the ball is at it's furthest distance from the player, charge your shot and quickly tap left and then right on the D-Pad whilst the bar is displayed.
Takes a while to master, but easy when you get used to it.

Think it's R1 on the PS2?
You can also go from stepovers to the flip flap by performing the 'slow stepover' and then tapping the skill button.

he crosses his legs and shoots with the other foot.
go to www.youtube.com and type in pro evo Recoba. You'll find it in there. Just a matter of practice that's all.
For the flip flat, it's just the skill button 3 times in quick succession. Just try all the shoulder buttons don't forget you have to be one of the players i mentioned above.

Thought I'd post a few more tricks for you These are moves that all players can do.
Chip the ball forward
When running with the ball quickly press down then up on the right analogue stick. This will chip the ball up slightly, good for teeing up a volley from long range.
Trap the ball
Press the R2 button (or black on the Xbox - Right Bumper on the 360) and your player will trap the ball. Good for performing the tricks below.
Bigger chip
Same as above, but perfomed from a standstill. This will lob the ball higher into the air. Wait until an opposing player comes towards you and then quicly press down then up on the right analogue stick. The ball should sail straight over their head you can then collect it and continue your run.
Feint
From a standstill. Quickly press up or down on the D-Pad twice. Never used this in game, imagine it would be more useful against your mates. Looks cool.
Dragback
Trap the ball as above and then quickly tap whichever direction points 180 degrees from the angle you're facing. For example. If you have the ball trapped and you're facing your opponents goal quickly tap towards your own goal. The player on the ball will perform a cool dragback in that direction. Good for evading tackles if timed right.
Feint shot
There are 2 ways to do this. Whilst running you can lure opponents to tackle you by performing a feint shot.
1) Whilst sprinting with the ball charge the shot and then quickly tap pass to cancel it. Your player will quickly change direction. This can also be used to make the keeper dive. If timed right you will be left with an open goal
2) The other method (and my favourite because you can control the direction of the feint) is to quickly tap up or down twice on the right analogue stick. Down will cause your player to feint and continue his run downwards, whilst up will do the opposite.
Knocking the ball past an opponent and running round him
This is an awesome move and one I learned the other day. With the ball, hold down R1 and R2 (black and right trigger on the Xbox - Right Trigger and Right Bumper on the 360) and start running towards an opponent. Before your player touches the ball again hit L1 3 times (Left Trigger on 360 and Xbox). If timed right you can knock the ball past an opponent and run round his other side
Super Cancel
This is probably one of the most important tricks in the game. Whilst not a move as such, it enables you to gain full control of your player. Useful for delaying runs onto lobbed through passes so you can use the drive shot. Hold R1 and R2 (black and right trigger on the xbox- Right trigger and right bumper on the 360) and move the left analogue stick to control your player.
Ever put in a corner and wanted your player to diving header or overhead kick it in? Control him using Super Cancel just before the ball gets to him and you'll be able to pull these moves off with ease.
I'll post some more tonight when I'm sure of the controls for the other consoles
Enjoy

OK, flip flap is L1x3 or R2x3, with one of the players mentioned above.
Also, revised the controls in my post above
