is there any rule on them giving u petrol wen u buy a new car??

my mates who thinks he knows everything says by law they have gotta give u a full tank

no usually new cars come with £10 fuel and you have to pay that £10er!

my past experience, cars have come with 'forecourt' fuel levels (in the red with about 2 miles of petrol in the tank if your lucky) but im sure if you request a full tank of petrol as you have a long drive, they will do it at the cost of actually filling the car.

always haggle say you want a full tank but they don't have to..But if you say full tank of fuel or I am walking away thhey will more than likely fill it...

Like mine then. My corsa had so little petrol in it when i got it the needle didnt even move up from where it stops, i wasnt even sure the petrol gauge was working at all

i had no petrol in mine either but mine was a private seller and the car was a steal anyway so i wasn't fussed.

also, rihanna is apparently only 18 btw

When I bought my Astra they gave me 1/3 a tank, enough to get me home (Paisley to Falkirk)
Although I gave them my Corsa with the petrol light on... and the EM light on too

Picking up the new Corsa tomorrow from Vauxhall and they are splashing £20 in the tank. Nothing says they have to but enough to get the car home/garage
