FFS Emploi did not get the correct administrative papers off it UEFA on time, therefore they were not allowed to compete in europe, that is why Milan have been given a qualifying spot.

Same happened when Liverpool got banned for the Heysel disaster etc! Ruined English football for years but as cosmo said, we now have a very strong league!

I'm unsure of the details of this appeal, I have only just got back home, but the original thought to enter my head was, why have the original court case/investigation if your just going to scrap the sentence and change it?

Correct. Luton won the Littlewoods Cup in 88 and were not allowed to participate in Europe. This would've been our only European season to date. God dammit!
