Fiat Punto GT3
This auction is for my friends Fiat Punto GT Turbo
Ill do this advert from the notes he's given me, but understand that any questions may take a day to answer!
Firstly ill say what a car this is. Its Yellow, so absolutely stands out from the crowd, and in its current form, it turns heads left right and centre. Firstly ill go through the important things....
Engine
· Currently the clock shows 21,000 miles, but its had a speedometer change at 40,000 miles due to the dials failing, which is backed by MOT certificates, stating the mileage as 38,000 one year, and then 8,000 the next. It has previous and present MOT certificates to verify the mileage, which is currently approx 61,000
· The car is a late 1999 V plate, and is currently on a private plate which IS INCLUDED in the sale
· In the past few months its had a new clutch, new petrol tank, front to rear brake pipes, new spark plugs and performance leads, and has been serviced twice in 6 months. The current owner (my friend) is a mechanic, so what needed doing has been done, obviously because there is no labour charge!
· Massive folder full of receipts
· When he bought the car, in the many receipts it has, there is a receipt for work done including new headgasket, and timing belt. This is dated September 2004
· Its also had a 'Seb 2' chip fitted to it, and has been remapped to get the maximum out of the chip. The turbo has been professionally setup and is running at 20psi, and has had some custom made metal pipes fitted to cope with the boost. It has also had a boost gauge fitted, which is black when the car isn't running, but glows when it is! This and the chip were fitted by a professional Punto GT expert, who himself has a GT running at 300bhp, so he knows what he's doing! He put an estimate of power output at 175bhp, and i can verify that it goes like sh*t off a shovel! With it having this much power, it has obviously been warmed up, and left to idle before switching off, as all turbos should be.
· It has a Bailey dump valve fitted, with Samco hoses
· Full stainless de-cat, with 10 yr warranty, new downpipe, and stainless middle and rear, with a 5" Jap style exit
· It also features a Cat 2 alarm and immobiliser fitted, with certificate to prove
· The car comes with part service history, but obviously with him doing the work himself, he didn't stamp the book
Bodywork
· Full respray in the origional colour. Done due to some idiot keying one side, so instead of trying to blend, it made more sense to do a full spray
· Front and rear bumper extensions, fully smoothed in, with the rear number plate relocated into rear bumper with light
· Side skirts fully smoothed into bodywork
· Smoothed boot panel, perfect with NO cracks
· Smoothed bonnet, with no Fiat badge
· 17" Shadow Chrome Wolfrace Mantis replicas
· All tyres have between 4mm, and 6mm of tread on them, with a couple of Pirellis, and a couple of budgets
· Drilled and grooved front discs, with performance pads
ICE
· Full boot install, with 2 subs built into specially made boxes
· Amp that runs them perfectly, located in front of the subs
· All wiring hidden under install
· Uprated door speakers
· Sony head unit, with remote control
Legal Bits
· Tax until end of October 2006
· MOT until November 27th
· V5 all present and correct
Bad Points
· The front bumper has caught the curb and has cracked abit
· The rear bumper has moved with vibrations, and the paint has cracked where it meets the body
· Slight mark on spoiler, but will touch up with yellow paint so will be unoticeable!
· Offside rear lens cracked, but not leaking
· Needs a shocker on the n/s front as its leaking, but has only just started!
And thats it!
The car is for sale due to him getting a new job which he has to travel 60 miles a day to get to, so this car doesnt make sense for that mileage! Hes obviously looking for a new car, preferably something like a Saxo VTS, hot hatch type of thing.
