I've had my car for 6 years nearly and always had a slight oil leak around both the rocker gasket and seemingly from the bottom of the ehad

it doesnt seem to be a lot of oil as the level never really varies but I've had both the head and rocker gaskets replaced several times each

Howeevr I've just been under the car to get a ball back and the underneath of the sump seems to be covered in oil - again the level in the car is okay and it may have been a build up over 4/5 years - When I first got my car I serviced it twice myself, full service ; had the bay all steam cleaned under and over - its been garage serviced ever since

any ideas why I have this reoccuring leak or is it an issue with the c12nz engine

on my old 1.2 8v engine i always had oil lingering about.

never found out where it was coming from, and same as you the oils never dropped or anything.

i stopped cleaning it up in the end and just ignored it! it was fine!

i dunno if yours is the same but mine never dripped really, just seemed to hang about!

yeah doesnt drip; there isnt a mark on the drive and I always park in the same spot so if it was a lot I'd know - but just for the life of me cant figure it out
