have got this on my pc, never used it before, have dl a file and now don't know how to open it, the icon is a set of books

alright.
Double click it. Winrar will open.
You should be able to see the files contained in the file you downloaded. There'll be an option to extract the files. You can then burn these to a CD.

just double click and open....
or right-hand click and extract, then specify the folder you want to extract it

yeah, right clicking might be easier. Think the option you need is "Extract to folder" or something like that.

you need to have a cd writer to start with...if yes, then you need the software, either nero or any software provided............

i have all software and dvd player its just the winrar i don't get........am extracting as we speal

can be done without the software but I wouldn't recommend it.
You can highlight the files you want and and right-click them. Then choose 'burn to cd' or 'copy to cd' (can't remember which). Think this is only in Windows XP though.

have extracted it now but this is where i get stuck i don't know what to do with it now to open it or put on dic........sorry for sounding stupid

browse using My Computer to where you extracted the files to. You should still be able to see where you put them if you have Winrar open.
