This past week I've had a few missed calls on my mobile from other mobile numbers that ring for a second or two then hang up, I don't know who's numbers they are as they are not saved in my phone book it just comes up as the number, normally I just leave it and let whoever ring me back if it's that important but today I was bored so I've rung them back and they have all been different mobile phone shops trying to sell me a new contract as mine is up in the next few weeks.
Is this some kind of annoying trick they do now? not only do they annoy the shit out of you you are the one ringing them?
Wish they'd just fuck off tbh, if I want to take out a new mobile contract with them I'll goto them, bunch of arse.

ignore them or answer and make funny animal noises.... they stopped calling me after 3-4 times!

I had phone companies phoning me up when my contract was near to its renewal. They would ring at least once a day until I answered.
Its a pain in the arse, they dont like taking no for an answer

na its becasue the diallers they use, ring a few numbers randomly at the same time so whichever number picks up first gets to talk to the person on the phone, and the other phone numbers get hung up on.

Thing is I'm waiting fro a missed call/text from a foxy friend from years gone by (as she has changed her number and didn't know it when I rang her home the other day) so she said she's text or missed call me so I had it.
These fuckers had gotten my hopes up that it was her

I have these phoning me all the time. My contract is up within 30 days and they call me 3-4 times a day. Its getting a little anoying now, I think they ring random numbers because I started getting these calls not long after I started my contract.
