have a look at the stats posted on memory bandwidths and such, there is a major bottleneck in the system, so regardless of the 'shiny' spec, it will be hindered greatly when the system is pushed further
also I have quite good reasonings to voice opinions on future nex-gen hardware and development techniques... aswell as the development, licencing and designing costs encountered during the games development life cycle...
