that enigne cover looks a bit tacky tho, interior needs cleaning up big time. would be nicer with full interior imo

400bhp then, with it being slightly heavier than the standard CSL engine I doubt performance will be radically different TBH.

Thew new M5's do have 500bhp, but thats a V10. But this one has custom manifolds etc so should be making a bit more than 400bhp anyway!

there are reasons why its a one off and i think its the fact that you loose and pay too much for performance that isn't that much greater than the standard car - im sure getting the m3 tuned would have been cheaper and could keep up with it with the old m5 engine

oh dear, he was so close to having one of my dream cars aswell but failed at the following: the m3 csl is rather rare so the standard m3 would of been more sensible, the colour is awful and the standard csl looked amazing in grey with the carbon fibre bonnet, the standard csl alloys suited the car perfectly so leave them on, hes already spent on fortune and a lot of effort on the car so im sure he could of afforded a supercharger for the v8 to make the conversion worthwhile.
