I'm considering doing a 2.0 redtop conversion, but i would like to know what sort of cost it is roughly going to cost me, engine, fitting etc.. Has anyone had bad experience from this and wouldnt recommend it? Sorry if its been posted before.

I have put a 2 litre in my corsa. It ain't too bad if you are a competant mechanic and you have the correct tools. It would also be easier with a engine crane.

Doing a search on this site will help. You can either make the engine mounts or by them for about £50 to £100. By cav mk2 1.6 inner CV joints and use GSI driveshafts. The wiring is straight forward, just match the colours from the corsa loom to the 20xe engine loom.
