I hav an Alpine MRV-T420 2ch amp. Its max power is 225Wx2 (4Ohm Stereo), 600Wx1 (Bridged 4Ohm). But then it sez all this......
12V RMS Continuous Power: 4Ohm Stereo (0.08% THD) 75Wx2, 2Ohm Stereo (0.3% THD) 120Wx2, Bridged 4Ohm (0.3% THD) 240Wx1
14.4V RMS Continuous Power: 4Ohm Stereo (0.08% THD) 110Wx2, 2Ohm Stereo (0.3% THD) 170Wx2, Bridged 4Ohm (0.3% THD) 340Wx1
Is the 12V n the 14.4V the voltage ov the battery or am I missin sumthing?
cheers!!

batterys are classed as 12v but they usually hold around 13, the 14.4v continuos the specs are talking abaout is when the engine is running, if you stick a volt meter across the battery while the engine is running you will find it says 14v as the alternator is whacking charge in

if you unplug your battery and test it you will find it has 12.5volts.
