What the hell does that mean? I get this error message when I try to install my printer onto my computer after clicking Add a Printer in Printers and Faxes... On Windows XP x64.

start > run > cmd <enter>
net start spooler <enter>
exit <enter>

Says the spooler started succesfully. But then the same error message comes up.... Strange

Missing localspl.dll. I have the file now, but which folder does it go in? I guess not many people will know the answer to this one as I'm one of the only silly people using x64

.dll normally go in windows\system32 but it could also be in a totally different folder.
No harm trying anyway.

Put it in the system folder which royally pissed me computer off. It told me off

should go in the directory - windows\system32
also make sure "Remote Procedure Call" service is running as it depends on it!
Also ed, 64bit XP and XP is the same on top, only difference is that the kernel has been changed to make use of 64bit processors and software - so anyone with knowledge of XP can more than help
