Trying to build an autoupdate similar to windows got almost there
though i am mapping to the server on which the domain is hosted where as i want the local machines "c:/program file" not the servers any idea?
been using the server. comands for the server side is there a similar client side command.

You want to map a drive to a local folder?
Share it and map to \\local ip\sharename

Cheers Ian, sort of like that solved it now though.
Built a client side piece of software that links to the server as well as a developer side that uploads it and server side. Basically the same way as windows updates work.
It’s to update some software I developed as I can not be bothered doing onsite updates. Especially as I can't drive at the moment.
