wont be for a little while as i have other priorities right now, but my current plan for a next project is a chevette with 2.0 8v.

should be cheap to buy and build. hopefully be able to make something quick and fun for not a lot of cash.

something like this would be the plan, although i thought it wouldn't go above about £350.

i think you should get a viva hc or a mk1 manta. im restoring my brothers viva at the moment got an xe in it gonna get some big hot rod style chrome wheels gonna look good

any pics of that Tom?

i had my eyes on a firenza not too long ago, but i reckon a chevette will be simpler to owrk on for some reason.

early manta would be cool as hell. pretty rare to see on on the road.

just thought about the paint Jambo, and i think a respray will break the £500 budget

brake servo gets in the way of the inlet though

got the exact same problem with a friend cavalier mk1 and his xe in it, it on webber 45`s but there are a few options u can do,either extend the servo out on a pole to near the front or make alterations to the servo with a hammer!

the pole looks a bit scrapheap challenge. i was thinking og getting on mounted upright like on a corsa

yeah the pole does look a bit dodgy but loads of people use it!
you can also move the resovoir some where and do it like that some how!
